Bethany Bullet Sermon Message - Week of December 10, 2017

• Can you imagine sharing you deepest shame, darkest secrets and most despicable acts with a known "leaker"? 
• Would you ever tell your transgressions to a filter-less Facebook'er or incessant tweeter?
• Who might reveal their faults, foibles, fears and follies to a neighborhood gossip? 

Advent invites us to embrace the radical call of repentance; that is to confess all our deep and dark things, all our faults and fears, each transgression to the One who could do far more than release sensitive information. 

Yet, that One, the prophet tells us, "Has paid for our sins, His blessing double for our guilt, He shepherds His people like a flock, holds us like Lambs in His arms and carries us close to His heart." 

That promise enables us to embrace Advents call.
