“You are the potter, we are the clay.”
Text: Isaiah
64

Isaiah's image
portrays Israel, and us, as still in the process of formation. God's
hands lay hold of us, shapes us and refines us.
The reason He
loved us enough to come as humble servant of all the first time was because of
what is on us: His finger prints and His name.
"He is the
potter, we the clay."
Until He comes
again as glorified master of all He still keeps hold of us and continually
shapes us for His purpose! That purpose is to bring His beauty into the
world, to draw others to Himself, and reveal His wondrous works. He is the
potter, we are the clay.
