Bethany Bullet - Week of May 22, 2016

Sunday we heard our Lord’s call to serve one another as He has served us.  By nature we are prone to want to be served and to demand service.  As new creatures in Christ, who has served us by giving His life as a ransom for our sins (including those of wanting and demanding to be served) we are called to be followers who imitate our Master, not in order to receive His grace and mercy (they are already ours) but in order that through us others might receive the same. 

V  This coming Sunday we will begin a 6-week journey through St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians. 

V  This week read Paul’s letter to the Galatians, and then re-read the first 12 verses of chapter 1.

V  On Sunday bring your Bible, electronic or printed, with you to worship.
